In 2017, Jarrod was awarded Manawatu Share Farmer of the Year, earning merit awards in pasture management, environmental sustainability, and leadership. He has since contributed back to the industry as a judge for the Dairy Industry Awards and convener of on-farm discussion groups.
 
Jarrod, alongside his wife Nikki and their four children, recently built their dream home on a 10-hectare block in Whanganui, where they are growing an orchard, raise calves, and continue to live the rural lifestyle that they love. Beyond the land, Jarrod is actively involved in the local Whanganui community. You'll often find him coaching or training at the local sports gym, sharing his passion for health, discipline, and personal growth.
 
Jarrod knows farming because he’s lived it. With nearly three decades in the dairy industry, working his way from a farm assistant to 50/50 sharemilking. Now, he’s taking that deep connection to the land and using it to help others make smart property moves backed by honesty, hard work, and a whole lot of rural know-how.
